Al Aqqa Sunset Flag Hike

Event Overview & plan 
This is a beautiful Sunset Hike to Al Aqah Peak, a Very beautiful Panoramic view of mountains and the ocean. This trail is short but it’s a steep ascent walk through the mountain ridge and well marked safe trail to the peak, the sunset & Sunrise view is amazing on the top of Aqua mountain, and you may spot an Arabian fox if you hike in the early morning or late evening.
The route is steep and gravity, wind, and possibly rain affect this trail. After about 30 minutes of steep ascent over spurs and up steep valley sides, you break through onto the top ridge. There is a viewing trail to your left. You won’t have much breath left after the climb here, but the views will take away what little you have left.
There is plenty of free car parking in front of the Heritage Village and car museum. There is a nice selection of coffee shops that are a great place to meet fellow walkers, The Adnoc service station and its Subway are good places to get your hiking supplies. The Al Aqah Ascent takes you up a large lump of rock, with one way up and the same one way down. After the hike you may spend time on the beach, this location is very calm, and there are some resorts and restaurants close by to relax after the hike.

Anybody can come in their car or we arrange the carpool as per the availability of participants by car, contact the host for arranging a carpool it’s not granted but we try our level best.
