Event Description:

Brief Itinerary:
Day -1 Sat 15th: Arrive at 3 PM Almaty.
Today we’re going to visit the Zenkov Cathedral, a prominent landmark in Almaty. The Ascension Cathedral is a place of worship and a popular attraction in Almaty. Visitors can admire its architectural beauty and explore the interior. Afterward, we’ll explore the streets of Kazakhstan at night, which can be a vibrant and exciting experience, offering a glimpse into the country’s nightlife and culture.
As the main thoroughfare in Almaty, Zhibek Zholy Street comes alive at night with its bustling atmosphere, street performers, and lively cafes and restaurants. Take a leisurely walk to soak in the city’s vibrant energy and have dinner.
Day-2 Sun 16th: Charyn Canyon | Kolsai lakes | Black Canyon ETC
Today we have a long drive from Almaty to the beautiful mountain valley. Along the way, we’ll visit Bartugay Reservoir and the Grand Canyon of Kazakhstan, Charyn Canyon, then drive to Kolsai picturesque mountain lakes surrounded by dense forest. We’ll take a short hike around the lake and see the Kolsai River, then drive to Black Canyon for another photo stop, before driving back to Almaty.
Day -3 Mon 17th: Shymbulak Ski Resort & City tour
In winter, Almaty becomes a paradise for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts. Shymbulak Ski Resort is located just a short drive from the city. We can see the Shymbulak meadows and experience the cable car to 3200m sea level to see the beautiful mountains. In the evening, we’ll take a nice walk in First President Park to experience the beauty of greenery.
Day -4 Tue: Al Marasan hot spring and waterfall
Early in the morning, we’ll drive to Almarasan to experience the hot spring and take a short hike to the waterfall. We’ll spend two hours there and have lunch before driving to the airport to bid farewell to Almaty.
