Exploring Kyrgyzstan offers a blend of stunning natural wonders and rich cultural experiences. Here’s a brief overview covering some of the highlights:
Day 1: Saturday – Departure 8:50 AM to Kageti
Arrive at 2:40 PM after emigration clearance, have a quick lunch, and head to the hidden gem of Kageti Waterfall. Embark on a short hike through lush forests and rocky terrain to reach this stunning cascade. Experience the beauty of the Kageti Gorge and drive to the Guesthouse in the middle of Kageti Valley. Enjoy a sunset horseback tour and a homemade dinner.
Day 2: Sunday – Drive to Karakol & Transfer to Altenerashan
Embark on a long drive to experience mesmerizing locations like the Fairytale Canyon, Skazka Valley, and the historical Manas village. Enjoy stops at Issykul Lake and Jeti-Oguz, known for its stunning red rock formations. Transfer to Altenerashan via an old Soviet Military truck, followed by a relaxing natural hot spring bath in the Flowerish Valley.
Day 3: Monday – Early morning hike to Ala Kul Lake
Embark on an early morning hike to Ala Kul Lake and enjoy the beautiful view above 4000m. Continue hiking through the greenish Karakol gorge and return to Karakol city for a hot tea or coffee. Drive to Grigorievka to stay close to Issykul Lake in a guest house.
Day 4: Tuesday – Drive to Bishkek
After breakfast, drive to Grigorievka Gorge for a short hike, then proceed to Konorchek Canyon for another beautiful scenic spot. Return to Bishkek to visit Ala-Too Square, the center of the city. Transfer to the airport late at night, with optional dining in a pub or street cafe to experience Bishkek nightlife.
